I used to play around with Paint Shop Pro and use photographs that my family or I took and flip them around, mirror them and other such things. Sometimes a completely different photo would appear, not just bizarre looking shapes, but it would make the photo look like you took a picture of something completely different. Waterfalls are great for this. Sometimes they look like cave photos or double waterfalls. It was just kind of a hobby to see what sort of picture I could get.
